Basque Ball (Pelota Vasca): in Portugalete, the Basque Country, and the World

This exhibition reflects the fact that towards the end of the 19th century and due to its industrial development, the town of Portugalete had become a key location where circumstances were ripe to encourage, develop, and professionalize national sports such as Pelota Vasca.
