The ticket office closes half an hour before the Museum closes.
The evacuation of the rooms begins 15 minutes before the Museum closes.
Closed: every Monday, January 1 and 6. August 15 and 16 and December 25.

Visit types
Individual visits
The Museum offers the possibility of taking an autonomous tour throughout the exhibition space. To do this, they will have the help of information panels and videos arranged throughout the floors.
No prior reservation required.
Group visits
The Museum offers the possibility of guided tours for groups attended by a guide.
- To the permanent exhibition “Portugalete, sea and iron”
The approximate duration of the visits is 50 minutes.
Groups of 6 to 20 people.
Price per person €1 + corresponding fee.
Educational visits
These are visits aimed at primary and secondary schools, both in Basque and Spanish, with two objectives:
- Bring the different temporary exhibitions closer to these students in a more playful and educational way.
- Celebrate important moments, such as Basque Coast Museum Month or International Museum Day.
The approximate duration of the educational visits is 45 minutes, from Tuesday to Friday in the morning.
Minimum 6 and no maximum number of students per visit.
Prior reservation is required.
