THE 97.000 DWT OIL TANKER BAMBERG
This oil tanker was number 165 of those La Naval de Sestao built. It was the twin of the «Zaragoza», the «Loyola» and the «Arnsberg», and was built in the slipway N1 for «Lofoten Maritime Enterprises y Bamberg Tankschiffahrtegesellschaft mbH&Co. K. G.»
Bamberg was launched on the 24th of April in 1970, coinciding with the afternoon high tide, and started to navigate on the 15 of July of 1970.
